Film Editing by Armen Papyan

Editing a film is like sculpting a statue from raw stone.
It requires the ability to see what may be missed: hidden gestures, subtle rhythms, hidden emotions, and to embrace them. It means stepping back to observe the whole, then diving into the smallest detail. Editing isn’t just translating a script to the screen. It’s orchestrating a masterpiece from scattered moments, fragments of speech, fleeting expressions, and accidental silences. It’s composing a story from incidents that happened, words that were spoken, and feelings that were never voiced...
Editing is never technical. It is a creative act that demands imagination.
By the way, this is Bragi 🙂
